7 Lagunas del Ausangate Tour, a super promising full day excursion, full of adventure, landscape, mountains, turquoise, blue, green and even reddish lagoons and you can also see a little of the Andean flora and fauna such as Alpacas, Vizcachas and Cóndores. But the most prominent places on this tour are the 7 lagoons located on the slopes of the Vilcanota mountain range, which are given the following names: Otorongo Macho, Otorongo female, Puca cocha, Alqa cocha, Ccomer cocha, Azul cocha and Pata cocha.
We start the tour with the pick-up from your hotel between 04:30am - 5:00am to go in a tourist transport to the village of pacchanta, it will take us approximately 3 hours, in this village we enjoy our breakfast. From this place we will start walking towards the beautiful lagoons of ausangate.We will have a five-hours walk visiting the lagoons of azulcocha, pataqocha, otorongo macho, otorongo hembra, pucacocha, alqacocha and q'omercocha, we can also appreciate the mountains ausangate (6834 m.), mariposa (5842 m.), jampa (5500 m.), pucapunta (5740 m), caracol (5625 m.), tinke (5300 m.) And the entire qayangate range, we will also see birds, alpacas, lamas, many birds and hopefully the andean condor. After visit this circuit we will return to pacchanta to enjoy the hot springs. We will end the day in the relaxing hot springs of ausangate. Ideal for relax the muscles of the body. Then we will enjoy a delicious lunch. Later we will board our transport to cusco, arriving at 6:30pm approximately.
They can do it from the age of 10 under the responsibility and supervision of their parents in the same way as adults, but it is preferred that it be done from the age of 16 since for this type of tours a good physical condition is required.
